S.H.F Den O climax form

When Bandai annouce release Den O Climax form my mind straight away pop up this question , Will Bandai include the wing (for cho den o) ? but sadly when Bandai release the prototype picture of Den O Climax it didn't include Cho Den O wing. I really hope it have a very good QC .

Sculpt and Details

The Sculpt for the Den O Climax is great and the details is great too . My favourite are the counpound eye , At first i was very worry that Bandai will used colour sticker for the eye (just like New Den O strike) ,very lucky this time Bandai didn't used that .

The Chest details and the Den liner phone is great

Paint Job And articulation

Articulation is great , all joint are very tight and easy to make pose . The hand joint design is very different from the rest of the SHF where it can be separate into 3 part this make the hand movement more flexible

I was hope that the leg joint was the same as Dragon Knight but sadly is not . I really like this joint design where i think(my own opinion ) it really more stable . I hope Bandai could used this design on all of their new release

The Paint job are ok but i really like the paint job for the conpound eye , really great

Accessory

This Den O Climax more with quite alot of accessory

The paint job and detais for the Ryutaros(Gun form) , Kintaros (AX form) and Urataros (Rod form)

are great .

But the Den liner card reader is a bit of lack of attractive because there are not much detais , the same go for the saber that hang in the belt (left and right)

I fin out 1 more thing is where at the back of Den O climax we can actually put out the middle part , My guess is

Bandai will have something in their mind (may be to put in the Cho den O wing )

Conclusion

I would said this Climax form is a good buy althought Bandai didn't include the Cho Den O wing . What really attract me are the best head sculpt especially the conpound eye . Good joint and less paint job error.Pls enjoy some of the picture i took

Revoltech Jehuty Anubis ver

Zone of Enders always my favourite game and i'm glad that Zone of Enders figure will be release i way very excited about the news , but i was hesitated to buy it . I have received alot of negative feedback about Revoltech,therefore I have to think twice before buying it, lastly i decided to buy . By the time i want it Jehuty already sold out but also luckly that Revoltech will be release Jehuty Anubis ver , this ver have more accessory that the old ver. so i have PO it i really hope i didn't make the wrong decision.

Sculpt and Details

When i unbox the Jetuty i was veryshock that the sculpt for Jehuty are excellent really no complaint

The details for Jehuty are so so in my opinion some area are lack of details ,if Revoltech could spend
abit of effort this Jehuty will be the best

What really attract me are the back of the Jehuty , the detail are excellent

Paint Job And articulation

The paint job are so so , most of the areas the paint is so rough

Also i have found that the gold colour are really different from the box (in the box the gold color are shining )

but in the finish product(actual product) the gold colour are dull . I found there are few different gold colour ,seriously i really sad about it .

For the articulation i really don't have any complaint , the joint are tight and you can do alot of posing

i could said Jehuty are very flexible (you can twist and bend every angle)

Accessory

One thing i really like about Revoltech and Figma where they wiling to give alot of accessory

what i like the most are the Stand , you can actually fix what ever way you want

Conclusion

Although the paint is rough , gold colour doesn't match and lack of detais but this Jehuty can be consider a good figure to buy .

If i'm good at painting i will repaint Jehuty to make it better . But all i can do is is add in wording at the head.

After add in the wording it look much better

SHF Shauta

Shauta is another combo from Kamen rider OOO , I really hope the quality for this is not as bad as others combo ,So let check it out .

Seriouly i really like shauta because of the colour which is blue not just that the design is really cool (my personal opinion it look better than the OOO) . The head ,chest and leg sculpt for shauta is great

The paint job on the head , chest are great but for the leg and hand have some sloppy paint (i have checked few pcs all have the same problem). As for the joint ,shauta have a better joint compare with others OOO combo

and better poseabilities (not difficult to do pose compare with others OOO combo).But there are some drawback which is the movement on the hand. Compare to others shf this shauta the hand movement are limited because it been block by the wrist pad

Accessory i just want to highlight is the 6 pcs tentacle (not sure what it call).for the tentacle which connect the shoulder to wrist are very difficult to put in (plug into the connection hold which on locate at the shoulder and wrist) and also easily to come off , Maybe need to modify a little

Overall this SHF Shauta Combo is not bad , so Go out there and grab it

Malaysia International Toys Fair 2011

Actually i don't want to visit this Toys Fair because of last years huge disappoint from the event.Since this years the admission is free i think is better to give it anyother chance , i really hope there are some changes and new excitement.

But sadly when i and my buddy are there , we were told that we need to pay RM 3 for entrance

At first we are reluctant to pay but when we peek at the entrance , we see a very nice exhibition booth display and we are confident that there are alot of excitment .

So we paid RM 6 ringgit and we get 3 package of potator chip for free

But when we step in , OH MY GOD we are cheat by the nice exhibition booth at the entrance . There are no improve in this toy fair , the walking path still very narrrow and is very difficult to walk if people are crowded in certain booth . The exhibition booth are very small which makes it very cramp and congested and cause us lazy to go in to have a look.

I feel very weird about this toys fair where i didn't see much exhibition booth seeling figures (For Example SIC,SHF,Action Figure and so on). I have seen alot of unrelated exhibition booth in this toys fair For Example

i see a famous international bank are in this toy fair ( i guess they must be asking us to sign up their credit card , not dare to go near there), also i seen this exhibition booth promoting computer software and karaoke system solutions , also i seen this exhibition booth selling potato chip ,Also i seen this boot promoting their boardgame cafe , Event worst i seen this booth selling those gold dust which put on the face and gold dust nail polish. i seen alot of booth are promoting online game , comic , D.I.Y painting (on t'shirt) ??? OH MY GOD is this call toys fair or a flea market.

SHF Crystal Skull VS Skull

The other day one of my customer(who have the SHF skull) ask me a very good question where he ask me which skull is better Crystal skull or the Skull .Hmmm tough Question, as for me both are the best . So let you guys decide which is better either crystal skull or skull , let check it out guys

Crystal Skull

SHF Crystal Skull release because of the kamen Rider Movie War Core 2011 and because of this a lot of people who have bought the SHF Skull start to compare which is better either the Crystal Skull or Skull .

Crystal Skull and Skull have no difference in terms of joint and Quality but there are some differences which I will show later but now let take a look at the Crystal Skull head sculpting .

At first I was very worry that the resin will hide (block or cover up) all the details but I was wrong . Bandai did a very fantastic job on it , the sculpting is excellent and the details on the head are all clearly been seen . But don’t be happy because I’m also received some feedback that some people have a very bad coated resin (not sure how bad is it ) but for this set it look good .

The comparison (the different) between Crystal skull and Skull

Crystal skull come with Matt black color where the Skull come with glossy black color , don’t ask me which is better (but I prefer Matt )

The Crystal Skull accessories come with 1 extra normal skull head and 2 pcs of plastic head cover the rest like the hat , extra exchangeable hand , scarf and weapon are the same .

I was thought that the extra normal Skull head will be the same as the old version of Skull head (I label the Skull as old Skull head and the extra normal Skull head that come with Crystal skull as new skull head so that you guy will not confuse), Again I was wrong the new Skull head design are totally different from the old Skull head .

The old Skull head are bigger in size compare with the new Skull head , Also the feature are totally redesign .

You can see also the new Skull head are more round shape than the old Skull head , from the side view the new skull head look much better

The pattern on the new skull head very fine and nice compare to old skull head the pattern look very rough

I just notice the chest pattern for the Crystal Skull seem to be different form the Skull not sure Bandai really make it look different or just some QC error

Lastly the 2 pcs plastic head cover , is for you to cover the head so that the color will not chip off when you put the hat on for long period of time . I did received a lot of complaints that the Skull have this problem .Guess Bandai did received the complaint too , that is why the give this 2 pcs of plastic head cover.

There are advantage and disadvantage too , where the advantage is color will not chip off but the disadvantage is the hat easily fall off due to the smooth(slippy ,sleek) surface of the plastic

You have seen the different between the Crystal Skull and Skull you guy decide which is better. But as for me both Skull are fantastic .

Play Art Kai Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker (Snake Jungle Ver)

Metal Gear was my Favorite game and i always want to buy Snake figure ,unfortunately i couldn't afford Medicom is too expensive for me . lucky Playart kai release Solid snake with reasonable price and i really hope the quality and the joint are good .

The Sculpt and details are excellent

Even the shoe the details is Marvellous

The Paint job is excellent and we can see the colour tone is well been place

I really like the joint it very tight , the size of the joint is similar to those 12" figure joint

when you bent the leg you will shock , the joint is so big and long

I really like the joint it look very solid and secure because we don't have to worry the joint loose but there are some movement restricted

you cannot push upward because the joint have been block by the sleeve

the lower part of the body also have movement restricted where you will having difficulty to move right and to move to the left because it been block by the belt

Also both hand couldn't push towards the left and right direction (for example left hand it could not push further to the right side and right hand couldn't push further to therleft side) because it been block by the sleeve

I'm not sure about others , but my Snake the hand couldn't fit into the ball joint , this is why it easily to fall off and very difficult for me to pose it with holding the machine gun

Snake Jungle ver come with very less accessory compare with the Snake sneaking ver quite disappoint with it

My set the machine gun are bend very sad

I also found is very weird with the extra exchangeable hand because both also the same style (holding gun style).

If you put that hand in Hmmm... is very weird and what pose that you can think off Hmmm...

Also there are no suitable exchangeable hand that can hold the knife

As you can see from the picture above on the left picture the exchangeable hand couldn't hold the knife it easily drop and on the right picture it can hold the knife tight but it look weird because there are no way a person will hold a knife with the index finger pointing out .

So the extra exchangeable hand is a totally wasted

Glad that Play Art kai did think of a cool(suitable) place for the knife

Don't you think is cool , Damm luckyPlay Art Kai think of it , if not this knife will be another rubbish .

For the hand gun there is a place for it too

But sadly it cannot be close tight

I almost forgot to let you know this figure is very heavy and very solid (it don't look like plastic figure at all)

Event Hot toys Ironman is ligther than Play Art Kai Solid Snake

Although a few drawback but what attract me to buy this Solid Snake are the Sclupt,details and the most important factor are the price (it cost RM 180 to 220) .

Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger - Goukai Machine Series 01 - Magi Dragon Review

Hello fans and viewers alike, Dave back again for another exciting DX toy review. Following my previous mecha review, I am going to bring the sequel to that Mecha review which is the MAGI DRAGON from Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger. Retailed at 2500 yen which is equal to the price of the Goukai Buckle, this toy is just a spring folding action toy. I'll get to the details later. Magi Dragon made its appearance in Episode 03 of Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger and in that episode, the Goukaigers unlocked their first 'GREAT POWER' among the others that are to come. Let us take a glimpse of the packaging:

The front shows a toy version of the Magi Dragon flying in the air (somehow or rather) and a toy version GoukaiOh head at the bottom right corner. It's saying that GoukaiOh plays with it.

The back shows the basic functions of our pet dragon here and how it interacts with GoukaiOh basically.

The sides of the box again summarized even shorter the functions of this toy and the connectivity with GoukaiOh.

The contents look standard but wait, this is not like any other DX Mecha. Once you get it off the box, it takes some time to put him back in the box.

The contents are as follows:

The Head and the main body is at the middle left, the middle has the lower body and the 2 top and bottoms are the 2 wings.

Yes, very simple.

A closer look at the pieces once they are out. I admit, some of the pieces are a bit too simple and too loose, for instance that black block lower body piece always have the giant claws folding down themselves.

When assembled, he looks basically like this. The arms at the main body can move up and down a little, nothing more than 45 degrees. The head can fold into the body and the ears can fold in as well.

Basic comparison of how Magi Dragon got transformed throughout the years. I am comparing the Mystic Dragon with it since I only have the PR version of the Magiking, aka Titan Megazord. If you notice, 2011's Magi Dragon is so small in size, about only 1/3 to the original.

Now, let's see how we can interact this thing.

I did not make a video on how to put this guy into the various treasure boxes, but I will explain basically how you can do it.

Notes: Each piece will have an arrow as to which way it should be put and the arrows are coloured to highlight which box you should put it in.

Red: Hardest to do of all. Separate the pieces, take the main body and the head and fold the head down and lock the head with the body using the ears (I am scared to do this since it feels like it might break the ears)

Blue: Fold in the wings and hold them tight before closing the lids

Green: Same as Blue above but in an opposite direction.

Pink: Separate the lower body (that black blocky piece) into 2 and fold in the giant claws and close the lid.

Yellow: Totally same procedure minus the earlier process.

When you're done, you're ready to play with first gimmick.

See how the opening gimmick emulates the one from the show? This is how the first appearance of Magi Dragon looked like in the show. Each box opens one by one to reveal a part of Magi Dragon.

Now, Magi GoukaiOh is ready to fly to action. In Episode 3's battle, the Action Commander of the week rides on a Sugormin that turned into a flying saucer and only Magi GoukaiOh could go up the sky like that and match it's aerial manuevers.

When the Sugormins are done for, the Goukaigers recall Magi Dragon and this time, they prepare for the final attack. GoukaiOh's gimmick has 2 versions and this is how the second version actually works. As mentioned in my review of GoukaiOh previously, the second gimmick is to turn the dial at the back anti clockwise and all Doors open at once.

This is where the anti-clockwise gimmick starts to play a role. Upon unleashing Magi GouKaiOh once again, the Goukaigers used the new finisher, Goukai Magi Bind and finished off the Action Commander for Episode 3.

Generally, I would say this is a very nice gimmick but with a hefty price to pay. I wouldn't say that it's not worth what it's selling at right now but it's a tough one for collectors on a budget to get him. To top it off that he doesn't really have any functions on it's own makes him practically useless if you don't have the GoukaiOh to play with.

I would give 3.5 stars for playability and 3 stars for value out of 5.

Kaizoku Gattai DX GouKaiOh Review

Hello again people and fans, Dave again for another DX toy review. I am quite excited to get this one and finally I got some time to review it. Give a hand for GOUKAIGER!!!'s mecha GOUKAIOH!!!

Let's take a look at the packaging:

The front has a big closeup of the toy version of GoukaiOh and yes, it looks amazingly attractive. The name of this toy is Kaizoku Gattai DX GouKaiOh and the catchphrase for this toy is Gou Hate ni Gattai! (literally means Combine and Get Rough!).

The back shows the basic operations of the toy and some extra pictures to show you how attractive this piece is. There's also a small photo of Magi GoukaiOh (a gimmick to lure you to buy Magi Dragon).

This side of the box shows the basic treasure chest functions of the mecha. Alluring!

Then we have the other side where it shows the Goukaigers and their respective Goukai Machines.

Opening the box will reveal to you standard contents. A manual pack, and the pieces. If you can't see them clearly in the photo, Galleon is in top middle of tray, Jet is in top left of tray, Racer top right, middle will be Trailer (back portion of Trailer on top, the little truck head is in the bottom) and bottom is Marine. A bit lower of the Racer are the Blades and the Helmet. At the bottom of the Helmet and Blades lies the Star Burst Cannon.

This is the Goukai Galleon.

Debuted in episode 1's pre-opening scene, it is the standard ship the Goukaigers ride on and stay in. It is also Goukai Red's mecha and forms the main body of GoukaiOh.

Goukai Jet is Goukai Blue's personal mecha. The wings at the back makes the Helmet for GoukaiOh

Goukai Trailer is owned by Goukai Yellow and it's a 2 part toy, where the truck cab is in front and the trailer is at the back. The 2 pieces are detachable for Gattai purposes.

Goukai Racer is Green's personal mecha. Nothing special for this one, just a race car with free wheeling action.

Goukai Marine has Pink piloting it and again, it's just one block of plastic with some little wheels at the bottom.

In combat when the Action Commanders and the SuGormins are grown to large sizes, the Goukaigers call upon the Goukai Galleon with the Mobirates on a 5502 button command (YES, the Mobirates can do the exact same thing in toy form). Once the Galleon is summoned, it will feature a treasure box releasing mechanism where all the mechas will pop up one by one from the previous popped up mecha. This gimmick does not apply to the DX toy here.

KAIZOKU GATTAI! This is how the formation of the GoukaiOh looks like in the show.

KANSEI! GOUKAIOH!

GoukaiOh first debuted in episode 1 at a pre-opening sequence battle slashing through fleets of Zangyack's ships with the 2 blades on it's waists.

GouKaiOh has a very interesting gimmick that plays major parts when the subsequent Goukai Machines are released.

This is the back view of GoukaiOh. Look at the big dial thing there? This is what the whole gimmick is about. In the basic GoukaiOh set, a cannonball firing cannon is included that helps to showcase the gimmick.

From the video, if we turn the dial in a clockwise direction (if you're facing the dial at the back), each Component will open up as the Dial hits a CLICK sound. When the Dial is back at it's original position (finishing one round of turning), every Component is now open. The gimmick here is that in future Goukai Machine releases, there are pieces that will pop out from the other Components. In the basic GoukaiOh, only the Cannon in the Red Compartment pops out.

Another manner of playing with this is to turn the dial in an anti-clockwise direction. This will result in all 5 Components opening together. This is to demonstrate one thing in the show. In Episode 3 when the Magi Dragon first appeared, the Goukaigers use the Magiranger Keys to create Magi GoukaiOh for the first time. The Doors opened one by one. Then, when they are about to do the "LET's GO!" final attack Goukai Magi Bind, they use the Keys again but this time all 5 Doors open at once. This made be think that this was why the turning can be done in both ways.

Debuting in Episode 2 is the Goukai Star Burst where the Cannon in the chest fires cannonballs continuously with the cannonballs loading from all the other 4 Components.

I would say, this piece is a marvel. I like it and I really do. Having the first 2 Goukai Machines (which I will eventually cover here later) is a big plus to this toy. However, having him as a standalone piece is already good enough.

Priced cheaper than Gosei Great from previous year's Goseiger at 6500 yen compared to 7300 yen is another good point. However, if you were to do shipping for it, beware. The box size is far bigger and wider compared to Gosei Great. In this area, Shinken-Oh is still the smallest in box that I would count from GoOnger onwards.

In totality and ending this review, I would say this is a good buy. Having stuffs for the 35th Anivessarry is pretty much a must for me and some die hard collectors and this is one piece that you're bound to find after Sentai reaches 40th or 45th Anivessary. I would rate him 4.5 stars of 5 for playability and 4 out of 5 stars for value.

After a huge disappointment from Eternal and i really hope Weather Dopant will not be the same because i really put high expectation .

All i could said is Fantastic , Fantastic,Fantastic this guy you must bring home even the price are RM 250.

The detail and sculpt on Weather Dopant are marvallous in every areas

The paint job was excellent , there are some weathering apply near the chest,near the shoulder armor,stomach area ,collar and other area the joint are fine (not too loose and not too tight) . But i am very sad that there are no die cast leg, I wonder why Bandai have to Ruin it .

Beside Ball joint leg there are few drawback too . The movement on the arm are restricted ,it cannot move freely upward

The leg also cannot push upward freely because it been block by the skirting of the suit

Although the leg couldn't move freely upward but it can bent freely backward and the skirting at the back of the suit not block it

Also the head cannot move backward too much because the fur at the helmet block by the big collar

The accessory as usual

Weather dopant come with 2 weather mine , the second weather mine is for you to put at the back

In my personal opinion the extra weather mine is really unnecessary, you would not show the back of the weather just to show the mine .If you show the front of the weather you barely can see the mine

I wonder why Bandai will not put this effort on SHF Eternal (if you read my review on SHF Eternal ,you will know what i mean)

SHF Eternal review

Shf Eternal is another hot selling item , i hear some retail shop selling at Rm 260 ++ are they really serious jake up untill that price. It is really worth it with this price tag ? let check out .

Eternal used the Double body therefore the joint we are less worry (as we know SHF Double have a very good joint) .Eternal come with glrossy pearl white where i think Bandai have choose a very fantasic colour and it really blend well with the blue metallic colour which paint on the hand and the flame pattern on the sleeve.

I just realise that Eternal actually come with 3 different white colour where the head are pure white, body are glrossy pearl white and the feet not sure how to describe but is like white colour add in a bit of black colour in glrossy too.I hope i can show to you all but very hard to see it in picture , i thought mine having this problem therefore i checked 10 units of Eternal as a result allunits having 3 different white colour

The sculpting for the head are pretty accurate but the details are suck , Can you spot where go wrong ?

SHF ETERNAL HEAD

The answer is

The eye , Shf Eternal eye have a very light yellow colour compare with the actual eternal this i can compromise .But i really couln't accept is the orange dot at the center of the antenna(forehead) OH MY GOD BANDAI WHAT HAVE YOU DONE.Bandai you have ruin the whole thing , Pls look at the Actual Eternal that was a red triangle jewel and not with orange dot .

Bandai can do it on Double CycloneJoker and so on why can't they to it on Eternal ,i am totally speechless.

Lastly, Shf Eternal head seam line are not been lining with black .I am not sure will Gundam pen lining work on it .Dare to try .

The QC for SHF Eternal are terrible , Look at the antenna there are nip mark on both side of the antenna .I have checked 10 units of Eternal all having the same problem, i do search picture on the Internet all picture have that too.

I really don't mind if certain units having this problem but too bad i guess the whole batch of SHF Eternal have this issue. I wonder how Bandai check their QC . Speechless again

The details for the Gia Memories that are held by the strap are very accurate but is not what i am expected , What i expected was Badai could give us the Gia Memories holder with it respective colour but too bad Bandai make it come with the no Gia memories on it

It is best if Bandai could give us the Gia Memories strap with respective colour as an additional accessory where we can cahnge it that will be fantasic.

Accessory come with 9 exchangeable hand , a cape and a dagger

No matter how details Badai sculpt the dagger but with the missing most important part which is the Gia memories that slot in it , Without that the dagger is not perfect .

Another sad thing is the dagger is make from soft PVC(plastic) ,Speechless again

The cape is make from soft PVC(plastic) too , Once this cape is put on the Eternal it will have limited movement , reason is the cape will lock on both Eternal shoulder in order to put the cape tight or stay firm

Not just the shoulder have restricted movement but the elbow too have restricted movement

SHF Eternal are Tamashii Limited item i'm actually expect more but too bad the QC are even worst that normall realease , I'm totally disappointed and speechless

In my personal opinion , If Eternal sell atthe price between RM 180 to RM 210 you can buy for the seek to complete the SHF Double collection but if the price more than 210 i could said is not worth it at all .

Kamen Rider OOO DX Taja Spinner Review

Hello again everyone, Dave again for another DX toy review. Let me introduce the toy of the day, TAAA...JAAAA...Spinner!. Yes, I could finally get my hands on the Taja Spinner and thus, completing the Red Core Medals. First appeared in episode 22 after gaining all 3 of Unkh's Red Core Medals, OOOs gained a power up with his new stronger Combo, Tajadoru and with the Kujaku Arm's power, the Spinner is activated. Here is how the box looks like at the front and the back.

The back shows the basic functions and acts like a simplified Manual sheet.

The contents is very very very, little:

All we have is the Spinner and the 2 Red Cores, Kujaku (Peacock) and Condor Cores.

The Spinner would look like this when closed. Nothing much here except that the lid is clear red plastic and there is some visibility on the Medals stored inside.

This is the bottom of the Spinner. As you can see, the strap is already attached on it. This is the very first for a DX toy that I own that actually came with the arm / wrist strap attached already. And of course, at the lower part you can see the battery compartment.

Opening it up unveils a 7 Medal holding roulette. This thing is called the Spinner for a reason, it actually SPINS. Let's get on to what it can do.

I had to admit that I skipped right to this function because I totally forgot how it works. In this case, this function coincides with the Scanning Portion. However, what I am trying to emphasize here is the sounds that you get after you go through with the Scanner (with the Scanner touching and holding down on a button). Before the spinning can be activated, you need to pull the lock at the back and unlock it so it can spun. While spinning, the lock will slowly re-lock again and once you stop, you have to re-unlock it again.

GIGA SCAN!

Upon activating the Scanner, this is what it can do. Press the Scanner through the hatch and while you're at it, the Scanner will hold a gray button down and the roulette will spin until you feel that all 7 Medals are scanned. Do take note that the Scanner can only remember 6 latest Medals it scanned, so it will only read 6 names even if you scanned 7. I forgot to do it with more Medals but the Sounds don't change on the Scanner no matter how many Medals you use. So in this case, it's Taka, Kujaku and Condor but I did not research on how to position them so that the Scanner reads all 3 in the right order.

HENSHIN!

Well, this is the last thing the Spinner can contribute to us and would be the most wanted function for all the collectors including me. Yes, the HENSHIN song for Tajadoru. The Henshin song only has Tajadoru mentioned once and with some background bird sounds.

As for the Scanning Charge, it starts off with a Bird's cry followed by the standard attacking and blowup sound.

If you'd ask me, I'd say this toy is not worth it if it's above the retail price. The Pro of this piece is that you can complete the Red Bird Guy Combo. The Con is that this piece does not have any lights, just sounds which makes it feel like a cheapskate piece.

I'd give it 3.5 for playability but only 2.5 for value.

Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba

Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba is another hot selling Kamen Rider it sold out immediately when it reach Malaysia .I'm not sure others country but in Malaysia most of the Retails shop sell the Unkh hand separately ,if include Unkh hand it need to add in another RM 80 .

I really like the sculpt of OOO Tatoba the details for the head ,belt , chest and leg are well sculpt

The Figure itself are great but unfortunately the joint are suck (very very loose) , especially the head the joint are super loose i thought mine having this problem but i have checked more than 6 customer all have the same problem. Also OOO Tatoba very difficult to do pose because of the loose joint .

The thing that i hate most are bandai replace the die cast on SHF feet with ball joint where you cann't do some extreme pose like those old shf .The leg movement are limited because of the design of the leg( refer to the picture above ) wherei it limited the ball joint movement.

The details for the Scanner and the sword (Medajalibur) are really bad , Not enough detail and colour on it really lame

UNKH HAND

Bandai will reissue OOO Tatoba estimate on Jun 2011 but this reissue it won't include with Unkh hand anymore , maybe this is the reason why it sold out very fast even have to pay extra RM 80 .

Unkh Hand come with Tamashii Stage with it name on it , Bandai used metallic red for the Unkh hand which make it look fantastic, the details is well sclupt .Too bad the only moveable part are at the wrist ,if Unkh finger is moveable that will be awesome

I been waiting for so long for Tatoba to arrive but i very sad that it have this kind of quality , i'm glad that at least Unkh hand can give some credit .

Juukou B Fighter Pulsaber Review

Hello again people and fans, Dave here again for another review and yes, this is a sequel to the previous Metal Hero toy I reviewed. Behold, the Big Bad Beetleborgs' ...errr I mean B Fighters' Pulsabers. Yes, this piece came together with my Input Magnum because they are both compatible. Introduced in Episode 22 of Juukou B Fighter, the Pulsaber reacts to the yells and voices of the B Fighters and their roars of justice. Let's dwell in and see how close this toy resembles the one in the show IF IT DID.

Behold the package of this 1995 toy piece:

Simple and yet another open window packaging concept item for the 90s.

The bottom of the box shows the Pulsaber toy and the 3 B Fighters.

The top of the box is simpler with just a blue background and one B Figher emblem on it.

At the back, some minor guidelines are shown on how to operate this toy as well as how to integrate it with the Input Magnum.

Contents are fairly standard in this toy. We got the Toy itself, a plastic tray, a seal sheet and this one came with a black and white manual sheet.

The manual sheet shows the basic operations as well as the explanation on how to play the combined mode.

Upon unboxing it, the toy looks quite close to it's show counterpart. The blade part is as usual soft rubbery plastic and is made to be shorter for safety reasons

The back of the toy has the exact same details as the front and in addition the LEDs can also be seen at the back.

This is the battery cover portion. No screws, no need for pointed pens. Just pull it out and it reveals a compartment for 2 AA batteries. This is an old toy, so it uses AA batteries.

This is how this toy sounds when you press the trigger once. In order to activate the Finisher / Charge Attack sound, hold on the Trigger and yell / make some noise to the speaker. What I did in the video was simply knocking on the speaker since I can't be yelling at it. It still works since knocking makes sounds. This is a very smart function. YES, VERY SMART. For a 90s toy that can do what it could in the show, I give an A+ for the innovation.

Another way to activate the Charge Attact sound is to press on to both sides of the red clear panels. This also emulates what is seen in the show where the B Fighters ROAR and slide the LED part at the same time. Pure genius, pure genius.

to the final gimmick of this toy, connecting with the Input Magnum. There are a few steps in order to do so:

The first step is to fold down the clear red grip on the bottom back of the Pulsaber. This piece grips on to the area near the Power Bolt of the Input Magnum.

The next step is to unlock the clear red piece at the center of the Pulsaber and folding both pieces down. Then relock the red piece with each other and you get:

SABER MAGNUM!

This is how the function of this works. By pushing the Trigger on the Input Magnum, there's another locking trigger that pushes a trigger on the Pulsaber, resulting it to be in CHARGE UP mode. With that, the sounds from the Input Magnum will resonate to the Pulsaber and it will cause something like a charging sequence and when the time is right, the Finisher sound occurs which is another different finisher sound. The requirement of the gimmick is that the Trigger needs to be held for at least 3 seconds and this is mentioned in the manual of the Pulsaber.

The combo I did in the video is 1-1-0-INPUT and that is the basic finisher for the SABER MAGNUM, they call it MAXIM BEAM MODE which fires a beam similar to the respective B Fighters' colours. There was also another MAXIM combo used which was 0-2-6-INPUT and is called MAXIM RETTOU MODE (MAXIM FREEZER MODE).

Looking at the size of this thing, it's really quite accurate in scale. I love this gun really really much. It's a very unique toy and to say it's a 90s toy, it's so hard to believe.

In the West, Bandai America released this toy under the name Pulsaber as well and the packaging was slightly different and was more matching to the Big Bad Beetleborgs line.

All in all I would say this toy is awesome. Sound receiver and motion receiver makes it so unique. However, the full potential of this toy is fully unleashed if you have both Magnum and Saber. The combined SABER MAGNUM is really a very good weapon. I would give 4.5/5 for both value and playability.

Tomica Hero Rescue Force Rescue Vehicle Series DX Rescue Striker and Rescue Commander Set Review - THIS IS BIG AND LONG

Hello fans and people, Dave here again with another DX toy review. Today I am going to do a BIG ONE, yes very big. Behold, the primary machine for the Tomica Hero Rescue Force series, the Rescue Striker. YES, it's the DX Rescue Striker and Rescue Commander Set. These 2 came together in a set but in Japan, there was one Rescue Commander that was released separately, comes with multi coloured lights at the monitor screen and could read more cards than this one. In the show, the Rescue Commander was used as the Henshin device as well as summoning vehicles and so on. Let's take a look at their packaging:

The front of the box shows the Rescue Striker and our titular hero R-1 slashing a card in the Rescue Commander. The packaging says that you can control the vehicle with card slashing.

The back of the box shows the actual toy's look as well as some of the other vehicles released that can be combined with this one. Also, a small manual at the back shows what each card does.

We get the same small manual in this side of the box as well.

And this side shows the combined form of a hybrid vehicle when you connect all the (available at time of release only) vehicles together

The top of the box is nothing special while the bottom of the box shows the contents and the smaller vehicles from the Rescue Force Line and the basic Tomica lines that can be played with this piece.

This is what you see when you open the box.

The contents are fairly simple. You get the orange coloured Rescue Commander, front part of the Rescue Striker, back part of the Rescue Striker, a strange attachment piece and a manual pack with the Cards inside.

The Commander comes with a small sheet of thin paper to protect the screen sticker from getting scratched.

The back of the Commander and how it fits the batteries. Do note that this piece requires 3 AAA batteries and does not have an ON/OFF switch.

All 6 cards in the set. They are namely, Build Up (for Henshin), Dash, Back, Go, Start, Water Cannon and Back.

These are how the 2 pieces of the separated Striker look like.

The front portion of the Striker and how it stores batteries. This piece requires 3 AA batteries and does not come with an ON/OFF switch either. This makes this toy requiring a total of 6 batteries.

This is what happens when you press this white button on the side of the Rescue Striker. It sounds like it is ready for action

CHAKUSOU! This is what the Rescue Force team members say when they suit up. The Commander will read Build Up as per the card.

As per the box's explanation, this is how the Card Slashing and the Striker interacts. The 2 clear panels above in the 2 photos are Infra Red sensors. As long as both can be connected at a certain range, the Striker will respond to the Card slash command.

VIDEO 3

The first card that is interactive with the Striker is the Dash Card. The Commander will say Dash once it is slashed and the Striker will move forward.

To assist me in reviewing the other cards, I will have to introduce to you the Rescue Tomica Series vehicles. Of die-cast build, these small critters are actually an essential part of the Rescue Striker when it comes to fulfilling the commands from the various Cards.

This one also comes with one Rescue Card and this one is RFT-01 (Rescue Force Tomica 01) Core Striker. This is the same unit seen in the show and is used to pilot the Striker from within this small vehicle.

For those who have Tomica experience, this one can actually have the 2 doors at the sides open. Forgive me as I forgot to take a photo of it with the doors open.

VIDEO 4

The next Card command is named as Go. However, the Rescue Commander says Dash and the Striker will have a strange mechanism sound from within while counting down from 3...2...1...Go!. Finally, we get to see the Core Striker launching out like in the show. There's another item that is able to aid in this function more effectively and it is called the Rescue Loop. I couldn't get one so I could not demonstrate it. It is basically an emulation from the show whereby R1 will do a Loop Hasshin or Loop Launch.

The following card is named as START. However, the Rescue Commander says Go and again we can hear some mechanism sounds from within. However, if you need to play this function, you need to first insert an RFT vehicle at the back of the Rescue Striker. Thus, we can see that the Core Striker is launched from the back through this command.

This card is named Back. The Rescue Commander reads it as Back too. This makes the Rescue Striker move backwards

VIDEO 7

This is the Water Cannon card. The Rescue Commander will say FINAL RESCUE WATER CANNON. Interacting with the Striker, will let you hear a Water Splashing sound like in the show.

Finally, this strange piece. This is a connector of somesort which I will cover later once the true function of this piece is revealed.

So, what can the Rescue Card from the Core Striker do? Well, practically nothing. Just a special sound and the name is read out when you slash the card through the Commander.

In general, this toy is worth every bit but it doesn't come cheap. Got mine at retail price at about US$90 and it is hefty. If you are a true Toku fan and collector you can try this. Terebi Magazine March 2011 Exclusive Panda Medal

Hello again everyone, David here again for another DX toy review. This time, I found a Chinese themed Animal item. No, not a phoenix nor a Dragon but a panda. YES, the Panda Medal from the March 2011 issue of Terebi Magazine. Let's take a look at the packaging for this

Simple and just shows the Panda Medal's front.

The back shows a lot of Japanese wordings. Possibly warnings of some sort that I am too lazy to even decipher.

The inner container is just a flimsy carboard strip folded in a way to create a frame.

The front of the Medal looks like this. The Panda face can be seen on the Medal's surface.

The back of the Medal has 3 stars. This is clearly a sign that it is a Gashapon Medal. Terebi / Terebikun always give bonuses that are of Gashapon quality or build.

The Panda Medal is set in the middle to replace the Tora. The Combo is called TakaPanBa.

With the usual standard random combo, we have the standard Scanning Charge sound. I really have no words to express how dissapointed I am with this.

All in all, nothing much. However, buying this is a pain for me. The Magazine no doubt has many colourful photos of upcoming stuffs but the Medal just don't cut it. I'd say you should only get it if you're a hardcore and serios collector like mua but if you're just a mild one, this one is totally passable. Bandai Juukou B-Fighter Input Magnum review

Hello again people and fans, David Lee here with another exciting toy review. This time, I am backtracking further to history back to the year 1995 for an amazing old school toy. Yes, this is a series in 1995, Juukou B-Fighter or Heavy Armor B-Fighter and the toy I will be reviewing is the standard sidearm that the heroes use in the show, the Input Magnum. This series was dubbed and transferred to the western market just like the Power Rangers but in a name we all are familiar with, Big Bad Beetleborgs. This toy was brought over too. So now, let us take a look at this wonderful toy.

The box is pretty simple with the Input Magnum toy shown with a window on the box. As usual, the leader of the team, Blue Beet, is the main attraction as he is seen at the left bottom corner of the box and is the biggest while the other 2, Green Stag and Reddle are smaller and are shown at the right top corner of the box. The name of the toy should read "Sound Input Power Input Magnum".

The back of the box has the whole manual printed whereby the operating procedures are shown. We can also see that Bandai has provided us with some combo codes to try out. At the left side of the box, the big photo shows and lists down whatever is included in the box which reads to the Input Magnum and a Seal (sticker) sheet.

Basically the Gun looks like this. The keypad has 10 numbers from 0-9 and a final INPUT key to confirm the combo selection. As we noticed on the back of the box, the Magnum only recognises 3-key Combos so if you were to key in more than 3 key combos, it will only take into account the last 3 Key Combos that you did before pressing the INPUT key. From general count, this toy can do over 1000 sounds because the equation goes like 10 X 10 X 10 and with the other sounds like beeping and so forth, it exceeds that. Notice that this is an old toy, the battery compartment is rather large and is located at the bottom of the handle as shown above. It requires 2 AA batteries for its functions to work properly.

The back portion of the gun is mostly empty. No keypads or whatever is seen but only the basic shape of the Magnum.

This toy is made in 1994, a few months before the show actually started airing. Interesting.

This is how we turn this toy on. In the show, the B Fighters would do the same before inputting the Combos and this is truly replicating what's seen in the show.

I am trying a few combos at random but the most prominent combos I have tried are:

Do note that the beeping sound occurs every 1-2 seconds when this toy is left idle. I don't see a reason why it needs that but it did come with it.

More combos I am trying and most are based on the back of the box.

As I mentioned earlier, this toy did get a Western Release under the Beetleborgs line with the name Sonic Laser. I do not know the details on the changes of functions BUT the box of the Sonic Laser did mention it can do over 1000 sounds so I am assuming no changes were made. However, a major cosmetic change was made to the Sonic Laser making the Input Magnum being greatly favoured over the Sonic Laser:

If you look closely above, the Sonic Laser is painted in Purple and Red where the Purple replaces the Gray and the Red replaces the Black. In whole I would say this toy is very very good. Having to do supreme combos is one big thing to toys. I don't see how toys nowadays can do this. Only a few could like the 2005 Sentai Changer Magi Phone and its US counterpart the Mystic Morpher. However getting it cheap is one issue. I got mine quite cheap and came with another piece which goes together with this where I will review later. I would give 4.5/5 stars for playability and value as a whole.

Gekisou Sentai Carranger - Auto Blaster Set Review

Hello again, people, David Lee here again for another TOKU TOY review. Let's give a VROOM! to my latest toy review, the standard Gun part sidearm for 1996's Super Sentai Series, Gekisou Sentai Carranger. Yes, it's the Auto Blaster set. A friend helped me buy this in Japan and it costed me about RM100 or so including his shipping to me so it's considered a STEAL. Anyway, back to the history of this product. Many of us will remember this toy as the Gun / Blaster used by the heroes in Power Rangers Turbo. Yes, this is the actual Sentai counterpart and it spots some differences from the Power Rangers version.

I got this toy along with a Chouriki Henshin OhRed figure and a loose Accelular but as you can see, the Auto Blaster's box is in a very decent condition considering its age.

The contents inside is fairly simple. We have the Auto Blaster already set in Auto Punisher mode, a Belt at the bottom right, a shiny chrome silver Buckle and a big white Holster with the Carranger mark.

The Belt can actually be fitted in the Buckle and the holster hanging at the side but I don't want to open it up too mich since not much playability on that portion is involved.

The Auto Blaster can be fitted on the Holster like that and in the show it really does.

SHIFT UP! AUTO PUNISHER! This is the first step to transform it to Punisher mode. Simply pull the tail of the gun and the Blaster extends.

The Last Step is to push the Red button easily visible above. This will open up the Blaster's front and uncovers a golden chrome internal part. This will result in a super Blaster beam that can destroy enemies and hits harder.

To confirm it further, here's a video of how the Blaster is transformed as well as the light and sound gimmicks of this toy.

And now, for the penultimate portion, the differences between the Power Rangers Turbo version are:

1) The Power Rangers version did not include the Belt or the Buckle but instead packed the Turbo Blade (Bi Blade in Sentai) together.

2) The stickers on the wheels read Turborangers rather than Carranger in the Power Rangers version.

SHF Nasca Review

I’m very excited when I know Bandai will release Nasca Dopant , I really like Nasca very much maybe because of his character in the Double series badass but have a bit of gentlemen . For those who didn’t buy Nasca will definitely regret it ,This Nasca Bandai have done a very Fascinating job.

Bandai have done a superb job on details , Not just the head have great amount of details but the whole figure itself full with excellent details .

I found that the joint for both hand is a bit loose . At the back of the body bothe side there are small ball joint hide underneath the armor , This small ball joint is for you to put the scarf so that you can move it in any direction you want.

The paint job is excellent and the colour tone is superb .

Accessories is not so impressive few exchangeable hand , a sword and a scraf .What I really like is the scarf , not just the paint job and colour tone is excellent but if you examine closely there are like 1 layer of gold dust coated on the scarf (i know is the metallic paint does the magic work but try to think it coated with gold dust you will feel happier(syok)).

Bandai have done a very superb job on Nasca but there are 1 minor drawback, where Bandai didn’t paint the joint at the arm and the join at the leg. Not sure why Bandai always don’t paint the joint, to save cost? Forget to paint? Bandai habit? I have no idea. But this Nasca suppose to give 2 thumbs up now I could only give 1 thumb up.

S.H.F Faiz review

Faiz finally is on my hand and I really can’t wait to unboxed it , To have my enjoy moment with Faiz. When I took out Faiz I was totally shock , What the heck Bandai is doing this Faiz is the most worst SHF i ever have (slightly better than ultraact ultraman).The Paint job is very bad ,most of the paint is out of line it look like Bandai is rushing . The Faiz body painted with matt black colour even worst, most of the area is not smooth (well paint )

Another sad thing is that the finger of Faiz is not paint with silver colour and the feet of the Faiz is just simple paint and there are no black colour lining and no red colour on the correct spot.

The articulation is very loose when compare with others SHF and is difficult to do some pose , not just that the thigh is very bulk some of my customer feed back that the thigh is not at the same size(which mean left tigh is bigger than the right or vice versa) .Another huge disappoint is the butt of SHF Faiz very bulk(have a big butt) this make SHF Faiz look totally suck and very ugly.

Accessory again not very impress me , it come with a lots of gadget but come with less exchangeable hand . Please refer to the picture my personal opinion No 1 and No2 is necessary but not No3 is not realistic or vice verse(which mean either No 1 and No 3 or No 2 and No3) , I feel is better give 1 more pair of exchangeable hand

Bandai have done a very great job on others SHF kamen rider series but I really couldn’t understand why Bandai release such a lousy SHF Faiz , where I know Bandai can do even better . I really hope the rest of the Faiz series will not be this bad (let pray and hope) .

Henshin Belt DX OOO Driver

Hello again, Dave here again for another Toku toy review. This time, give a hand to OOO!!!!!! Yes, that's right. Today, I'll be reviewing the OOO Driver. Let's get to the bottom of this as to what can this rare and expensive baby can do.

The packaging looks nice but then again it's more of a standard issue by now. The box size measures approximately similar to previous DX Belt releases of Double, Decade and Kiva and it is a tradition now that they are in such a big box.

The big box is not wasted as the contents are really sufficient to cover the area of the whole box. The contents:

Top Left and Top Middle: Packs of 2 Core Medals (DX type) in each slot, making it 4 in total. The left one has Taka Core (Hawk Core) and Batta Core (Grasshopper Core) while the middle one has Tora Core (Tiger Core) and Kamakiri Core (Mantis Core).

Middle: The 2 Belt straps are stacked on each other, with the one holding the OOO Scanner being on top.

Bottom Left: OOO Driver. Don't underestimate this little chunk of plastic. It's not the Holder you see in the Double Driver.

Bottom Middle: Back Holster of the Driver as to many DX Belt sets.

Bottom Right: Canister to hold the Medals, called as the Medal Holder.

The OOO Scanner and the 4 Medals. The Medals are so sharply detailed in colour and are separated by the slot numbers by some patterns at the back. At the back (not pictured), the number of spaces between lines represent the slot the Medal is supposed to be in. In the show, Eiji Hino found his first Core Medal, the red Taka Core from his part time security job at a musuem. The medal belonged to Ankh but later Ankh entrusted him to use all the Medals they both obtained to Henshin to OOO and gather more Medals.

First, let us see what the Scanner will say when we scan the Medals like this separately. To scan Medals, turn it on and HOLD on a button at the handle for the Scanner to activate. As from the video, the Medals are Taka (Hawk), Tora (Tiger), Batta (Grasshopper) and Kamakiri (Mantis). Do you hear the Medal clinging sounds during scanning? From the Scanner, we can see lights of 7 Colours namely, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Gray/White. For those hardcore collectors like me can sure know how much you need to spend on this line.

After setting up, the basic Driver + the first 3 Core Medals (Taka, Tora and Batta) are inserted.

HENSHIN!!

TAKA! TORA! BATTA! Ta-To-Ba! TaToBa, TaToBa!

This is the basic form (called Combo in Kamen Rider OOO) of Kamen Rider OOO in the show, much like Double Cyclone Joker. Interestingly, this is the only Henshin song I find it easy to remember. After scanning through the same set of the medals once, you can scan it once again for the finisher. The finisher sound would be read as SCANNING CHARGE and the finisher for Tatoba is first seen in Episode 3 used against the Fat Cat Yummy.

TAKA! KAMAKIRI! BATTA!

This is the Combo Change whereby a small portion of the body is changed. Similar to forms like Heat Joker or Heat Trigger, this Combo uses the Mantis slicers at the elbows to perform attacks. The Scanning Charge for this Combo is seen in Episode 1 in the show, whereby Eiji using it to Slash one of Uva's Yummy and destroying it. Note that because this form is not a pure form (as in all 3 in the same colour), there's no special Henshin Song after the Medal names.

All in all, this is a very good set as far as future playability is concerned. Why do I say that? Well, since the playability of this whole DX OOO Driver is based on the number of Medals you have, having more Medals and more future Medal releases would mean more playability. As for fans out there who has yet to own one, I would say, just buy one if you can. It's worth the shot. I don't know when I can finally get my hands on Medal Sets 1 and 2 but if I do, the reviews will come here for sure. Figma Black Rock Shooter review

I always want to have a Figma figure to be add into my collection because all my collection are Kamen Rider (guy) ,thinking if add in some girls figure my rider will not be that bored . So I have chosen Figma Black rock shooter . When I unbox my BRS I found there are something is not right , therefore I took my brother Figma to compare . Found that the size is smaller and the height is shorter compare with other Figma .This also mean BRS are very fragile because normal size figma are that fragile .

The articulation point for this BRS are very well done , It surprise me that figma figures can have this good quality articulation joint. BRS have two articulation joint that attach to her ponytail allowing her hair to have any pose you want ,beside that her lower jacket also have two joint and allow the jacket to move in various direction .

There are some minor drawback where her hand are easily fall off , not like others Figma you need to pull it hard enough to exchang their hand. What I realize is that BRS exchangerable hand have no stopper (not sure what their call it) pls refer to the picture below . Not sure why Figma design BRS that way .

BRS have a really awesome paint job and the colour tone .Take a good look at the BRS hair colour , body colour tone are perfectly been place. I really like the jacket , black colour coated with glossy that make BRS look more sexy .The Sclupt and details for BRS are excellent

Accessories for figma is really awesome and I really admire it come with stand , a exchangeable hand storage and a plastic for us to put in those accessories (we don’t see this in most of the Bandai item ).This effort show that Figma really care about their customer not like Bandai everything need to buy.

This BRS is a must have item and i have decide to collect all BRS character

Den O Dx belt review

Hello again people, this is David here again for another DX toy review. Everyone in Hong Kong and Malaysia are enjoying a weekly dosage of Kamen Rider Den-O on local television and this brought me to the idea of doing this review. Here is my review for the day, the Henshin Belt DX Den-O Belt.

From the show, Ryoutarou Nogami, often possessed by either Taros Imagins will use this Belt to Henshin and become the titular hero, Den-O. Den-O comprises of 4 basic forms which are separated by coloured buttons on the Belt. Mine is the usual Hong Kong version where we can find in retail everywhere around Kuala Lumpur. In Japan, there are 3 different waves of Den-O belts. One of the later waves feature all 4 forms illustrated on the front of the box and another wave shows the extra built in feature, the ability to link up with a later toy, the Climax Keitai Keitaros.

Let's take a closer look of what is inside of this DX Belt that we see in departmental stores everytime we go shopping.

The contents of this Belt is fairly simple. The main Belt Buckle is connected to one side of the belt and is stored as one piece. The other side of the Belt is stored on the top part of the box and at the left side, we have the Rider Pass. The Rider Ticket (in this set, the Blank Ticket) is sandwiched between the Rider Pass and since it isn't safe this way, I just left it in the Pass. The back holster is placed at the bottom and that's about it.

Upon assembling the whole belt, the toy will look like this. Do note that this is a DX Belt and only will fit waists between 52 to 70cms which is about 28-29 inches at max. These of course, don't fit my oversized bellied body.

The word Den-O System is printed on the top of the Belt Buckle and it is easily visible. However, I am not too sure if these words will fade in the future or not.

The Rider Pass and the Rider Ticket are as shown. The Pass can be opened and folded at two different manners for Storage and for Henshin.

This is how the Pass is folded for Henshin mode. This side comes with the scanning magnets whereby only this side is scannable on the Belt.

Henshin! SWORD FORM! - Red LEDs light up in this case.

This is very accurate in terms of sounds to the show and I like the volume of the toy in a whole.

Henshin! AXE FORM! - Yellow LEDs light up in this case.

Henshin! GUN FORM! - From the looks of it, the Blue and the Red LEDs light up together and blend into a purplish kind of LED lights feeling.

As we all know, the Belt also allows Den-O to perform the finisher, as in a FULL CHARGE. For this to work, you need to put the Pass at the Buckle's front for about 2 seconds before the FULL CHARGE sound is played. At first when I got this toy, I was having troubles testing it at the testing counter because I couldn't figure out how to do a FULL CHARGE until I took out the manual and read through that section.

This could be a bit wrong but when you turn on the belt and you just scan the Pass through once, you will get the sound similar to the one prior to a FULL CHARGE. If I remember correctly, this is the sound of Plat Form's Henshin. However in the show, the Red LED does not light up.

All in all, this toy is excellent. The gimmicks and everything are nicely executed. I like how they made the Belt and the Pass into a Touch and Go card and machine and this is extremely clever. I would suggest fans out there to grab one before they are all out. That's all for now and gracias to bro Yam again for this uploads and see you guys again in the next review. So, ORE KIERO!

Toku Ultraman Review

Hello everyone, Dave here again for another toy review. Today, I'll be covering a toy from another Toku universe, Ultraman. For those who do not know much about Ultraman, Ultraman Mebius marks the 40th Annivessary for the Ultra Franchise's presence in the market. For this, Tsuburaya and Bandai made several changes from their previous Heisei Ultra series which are the re-appearances of old Showa Ultramen from the past series. Anyway back to the toy, the DX Mebius Brace is the Henshin or Transformation item for Ultraman Mebius and is also used to execute his basic finisher, the Mebium Shoot. Let us take a look at what's inside the small compact packaging of this item.

As simple as it looks, the packaging includes the Mebius Brace, the Brace holder which is connected with the Mebius Brace in package, a red nylon strap (which I never open) and a manual. Do note that mine is the Hong Kong version and the manual is in English and Chinese.

This is how the toy looks when it is removed from the package. Connected to the Brace holder, the strap goes around the holder so that it can be wrapped around your wrist.

The function of this toy is pretty straightforward and simple. This however resulted in the toy being quite dull and boring. There are 3 modes of play for this toy:

The first mode is the Transformation Mode whereby you roll the red sphere in the direction of the golden area. This will play the Transformation sound which I don't find it accurate.

The next mode is the Mebium Slash Mode. This is activated by rolling the red sphere in the opposite direction, towards the direction of the clear red piece. This will play a sound of a Blade appearing and a short Slash sound.

The final mode is the Mebium Shoot Mode. This is of course, Mebius' basic finisher. By pressing the golden button located at the bottom left (or top right depending on which direction you prefer as the top), it will activate a charging and standby sound where it is not so similar to the one in the show to my opinion. During the standby sound, roll the red sphere in any direction to release the finisher sound. One interesting trivia about this mode is depending on which direction you rolled the sphere towards, the red light will travel according to that direction at the clear red parts at the bottom.

In my opinion this toy is a dissapointment. Although I dreamt of having it but after getting it, I was speechless. In the show, the sphere can roll freely once it is rolled with a strong energy force. For the toy, you can only roll a little bit of it because they made the system to lock the sphere so that it doesn't move too much.

If you're a true Ultra fan and die hard of Showa Ultras, get this toy if you can find one. I found it through online retailing and it ain't cheap but luckily it was through a local online seller. Thanks again for bro Yam for uploading my reviews and until next time, SHOOWATCH!!
